We have developed some great teaching resources explaining the many innovative uses for materials made from waste tyres which illustrate how they can be incorporated in everyday life in your school and community. To enter your school in this great competition, use your creativity to tell us in a story, poem, video, rhyme or picture how rubber matting made from recycled tyres will benefit your pupils and the environment and why your school should be the winner oft his fantastic prize.
Learn about the uses of Used Tyres in Recycling
Used Tyres become a useful resource for the circular economy and there are many uses for end of life tyres when they are recycled and recovered. In Ireland, over 4 million waste tyres every year are recycled or recovered and managed in an environmentally sound manner on behalf of Circol ELT Members.
