Farm Tyre Bring Days
Our inaugural Farm Tyre Bring Days will be held at Crossmore Tyre Recycling, Kildorrery, from 20–22 November 2025.
Farmers can recycle up to four tonnes at €50 per tonne and any additional tyres at €120 per tonne, ensuring every waste tyre is managed sustainably.

Circol ELT welcomes the expansion of the Tyre Scheme

Circol ELT welcomes the planned announcement to expand the remit of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Scheme for tyres.  The Scheme will then include all categories of tyres set out in the Eighth Schedule of the Tyres Regulations (including Truck & Bus, Agri, Construction and Industrial).  This will formalise the Environmental Management Cost (EMC) for all tyres, ensuring their traceability and facilitating proper environmental management as they become waste at end of life.

Over the past five years Circol ELT has sustainably managed over 96%  of passenger car, 4 x 4, van and motorcycle tyres placed on the market in Ireland. This equates to approximately 4 million tyres annually.  Bill Collins, Circol ELT CEO stated ‘The inclusion of these categories will help us measure and manage outcomes for these tyres. Our systems are ready for this expansion and we intend for a smooth transition for all involved."

Circol ELT is engaging in industry consultation with the various stakeholders involved in vehicle and tyre sales for the Truck & Bus, Agricultural, Construction and Industrial sectors.

Secure online payments for Circol ELT Members

Annual Membership fees and monthly invoices can be paid online.  Please enter your Membership number in Customer ID so we can allocate payments as quick as possible.

Once your payment is submitted, a receipt will be sent to the email address you have entered on the payment form.

For Members paying through bank transfer, our new bank details are printed on all statements and invoices.

Working with the tyre industry

We work with our Members and stakeholders to ensure their needs in terms of compliance and service are covered. Member participation and compliance benefits the environment and we promote their work to the public through national media campaigns.

Members report monthly to ensure all their waste is accounted for and therefore eligible for free collection through our network of authorised collectors. By joining the compliance scheme, you can make sure your waste tyres are managed in an environmentally sound manner.
